The AT&T Galaxy S4 started getting the Android 4.3 update last week, as per numerous user reports. But since this is not a simultaneous rollout, there are still quite a lot of customers out there who are waiting for the update notification to pop up. And it seems like their wait is going to get longer as AT&T has reportedly pulled the Android 4.3 update for the Galaxy S4. The reasons for this are unknown and the carrier seems to be investigating the issue with Samsung.
There’s no word on when AT&T and Samsung will resume the update rollout, but it could take a couple of weeks at least if not more. Unfortunately for AT&T users, this update would have brought support for the Galaxy Gear smartwatch, but it seems like the Galaxy Note 3 is the only smartphone right now on AT&T with support for the unpopular smartwatch. The Galaxy S4 on Sprint and Verizon have already received the update in late October while AT&T and T-Mobile variants were slated to get the update in mid-November. We’re not sure if this delay will affect the T-Mobile variant as well.
