A new leak suggests that Sony could unveil the recently leaked Xperia Z1S and a mystery device known as the Xperia ‘Tianchi‘ at an event in Shanghai on November 12. Sony will reportedly start sending invites for this event soon. While we know quite a bit about the Xperia Z1S, thanks to its Japanese sibling the Xperia Z1 f, the Xperia Tianchi could be quite a revelation. This smartphone is rumored to pack the first eight core SoC made by MediaTek and could be concentrated on the Chinese markets, which explains why the event is being held in China. This smartphone is also reported to sport a large 6 inch 720p display to compete with the current gen phablets.
The Xperia Z1S should in all likelihood pack a 4.3 inch 720p display, a 20.7MP Sony G Lens camera, a 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 800 chip, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and a 2,300 mAh battery. While the Xperia Tianchi might see a China only release, the Xperia Z1S will certainly launch on a global scale.
