The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini for Sprint has been purportedly previewed by evleaks. The leak source has posted some press renders of the device, which is finally heading to the wireless carrier, sometime after it has been officially released by the manufacturer.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini for Sprint, according to the leaked image, comes in two color options: Black Frost and White Mist. The handsets do not appear to bear any form of Sprint branding, as well, much like the Samsung Galaxy S4 that the same wireless carrier is selling.

The Galaxy S4 Mini for Sprint is not expected to offer any new features or hardware. To refresh, its design is similar to Samsung’s 2013 flagship handset, the Samsung Galaxy S4. Its edge, of course, over the S4, is its smaller size, which allows the device to be handled more comfortably by its users.

Among its key specifications are a 4.3-inch qHD sAMOLED display with a 960 x 540 pixel resolution, a 1.7GHz dual core processor, a 1,900mAh battery, 8 or 16 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot that supports up to 64GB of extra space, an 8 MP rear-facing camera, and a 1.9 MP front-facing camera. It also supports the following connectivity features: Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth, KIES, KIES Air, and DLNA. A closer look at the leaked press renders also show the 4G indicator, which means that the Sprint models could have support for 4G, as well.

There is no information available on how much the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini for Sprint will be priced, but it is expected to be rather affordable. Likewise, there is no word on when the handset will hit stores. Also unknown is whether Sprint will eventually offer the newer color options of the Galaxy S4 Mini, which are Scarlet Dawn, Bronze Autumn, and Blue Iceberg.

If you’re in the market for a smaller-sized handset like the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, you might find these comparisons with the Motorola Droid Mini and HTC One Mini useful.
