Samsung Galaxy Legend hitting Verizon soon

Verizon Galaxy Legend

Renowned source Evleaks has leaked yet another smartphone on Twitter in the form of the Verizon Galaxy Legend. This is basically a rehash of the Galaxy Stellar smartphone which hit markets last year, so we can expect to see identical specs on board. The smartphone will not pack 4G LTE though, which is strange because the Verizon Galaxy Stellar came with 4G LTE. The handset will be sold on Verizon’s prepaid network with an ultra low price tag, which is the norm for low end smartphones.

The Galaxy Stellar/Legend should feature a 4 inch 480×800 display, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, a dual core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon S4 Plus chipset, a 2,100 mAh battery, a 3.15MP camera on the back  and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. As this is still a leak, there’s still no word on pricing and availability yet. But knowing Verizon, we won’t be surprised if the smartphone silently makes its way to retail shelves without a formal announcement.
