It’s Nexus week folks, and just as Google gears up to launch new devices this week, we have a leak revealing the hardware of the Nexus 10 tablet. This screenshot was sent by a tipster to Phone Arena and it shows the product description page of the new Nexus 10 tablet, which has since been taken down apparently. The screenshot reveals everything we needed to know about the tablet, but since this is a leak, we’re taking it with a pinch of salt.
According to the screenshot, the new Nexus 10 packs the same 10.055 inch 2560×1600 resolution display from last year’s Samsung Nexus 10, a Snapdragon 800 SoC, 8MP camera on the back with a 2.1MP front camera, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 9,500 mAh battery, Bluetooth, NFC and Android 4.4 KitKat. The tablet will apparently be 584 grams in weight and 7.9 mm in thickness according to the screenshot.
It’s still early to comment on the specs, but if true, it’s clear that Google wants to go with the tried and tested hardware rather than go with something entirely different. It is hoped that Google will announce the Nexus 5 and the Nexus 10 tablet in an event later today.
