Evleaks has revealed a new midrange Alcatel made smartphone headed towards MetroPCS, dubbed as the One Touch Fury. There’s no word on the release date of the handset just yet, but it should most probably break cover during the holiday season, so we can expect an official launch in 2-3 weeks’ time. As MetroPCS comes under T-Mobile’s umbrella, we can expect the smartphone to carry support for the carrier’s LTE bands.
The smartphone reportedly comes with a 4.5 inch qHD display, a 1.2 GHz quad core chip, an 8MP camera, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (probably with a microSD card slot) and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. This is all the information we have about the smartphone right now besides from a press image. Pricing shouldn’t be too high as this is a midrange device, so we expect a $100-$150 pricing off contract for the Alcatel One Touch Fury. The MetroPCS lineup consists mostly of midrange smartphones from LG and Huawei, so this smartphone should make a decent new addition to the list.
