LG-V510 receives Bluetooth certification, could be Nexus 8?

The Google Nexus 8 may have already gotten its Bluetooth certification, according to new speculations.

Nexus 8

Nexus 8 or LG G Pad 8.3?

The rumor stems from a fresh listing on the Bluetooth Certification database. Such database shows a device identified as the LG-V510. LG Electronics, as pert the listing, filed the application for the certification, and the device was listed just a few days ago.
According to GSM Insider, the product code could refer to one of two devices: the LG G Pad 8.3, or the Nexus 8.
As the tech blog points out, the current LG G Pad 8.3 has the model number LG-V500. It speculates that the mystery device is an LTE variant of the G Pad.
On the other hand, it is also likely that the LG-V510 refers to the Nexus 8, a device that had already appeared in the rumor mill a few months ago.
It may be recalled that back in July, a purported press render of the Nexus 8 started making its rounds in the tech community.
The same render, it was discovered, was based on concept renderings that came out a few months earlier of the Nexus 5, Nexus 11, and Nexus 8. The render included several purported key specifications of the Nexus 8. Among these were an 8-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels, a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, Adreno 320 GPU, a 2 MP front-facing camera, a 3 MP rear-facing camera with flash, the most recent version of Android, and an 8GB internal storage capacity. The render even had a price tag: $199 for the 8 GB version.
None of those concept render specifications have been supported by other rumors. What is clear, however, at this point is that the Nexus 8 rumor is still very much alive.
Whether the mystery device in the Bluetooth certification turns out to be the Nexus 8 or just a variant of the LG G Pad 8.3 tablet, however, will likely be revealed soon.
Which device are you more excited about: the Nexus 8, or the LTE variant of the LG G Pad 8.3?
