The Samsung Galaxy Round impressed us all with its design, although it turned out to be an experimental project. Since then, talks of LG’s upcoming curved display smartphone known as the G Flex has increased in frequency. The smartphone is set to break cover next month and we’ve already had plenty of leaks showing off the design of the smartphone. The smartphone has posed for the camera yet again in a hands-on demo video along with a couple of pictures, revealing a top to bottom curve unlike the Galaxy Round which was curved around the sides. Two varying concepts from Samsung and LG could mean different functionality altogether, and so far we’ve been fairly impressed with both. However, the smartphone will apparently see a limited release within South Korea much like the Galaxy Round.
The smartphone has the same back placed buttons as we saw on the LG G2, but in a slightly different avatar. Inside, the G Flex packs a 6 inch 1080p flexible OLED panel, a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 SoC, a 13MP camera with optical image stabilization, 2GB of RAM and Android 4.3. You can find the hands on video of the smartphone from the source link below.
