The LG G Pro Lite smartphone has just gone official with a formal announcement coming from the company. As we have learnt from a rumor before, this smartphone is basically a Lite version of the widely popular Optimus G Pro phablet which launched back in February.
The G Pro Lite packs a 5.5 inch 960×540 IPS display with a dedicated stylus, a dual core 1 GHz processor, an 8MP rear camera, a 1.2MP front camera, Android 4.1.2 (surprisingly), 1GB of RAM and a 3,140 mAh battery. The smartphone comes with dual SIM support as expected and features a dedicated hotkey to swap between SIMs. LG is also bundling neat software features like KnockON which wakes up the phone with a double tap on the display. Other features include Q Translator, Q Slide, Quick Memo etc.
The smartphone will be sold in China, India, the Middle East, Russia, Latin Americas and other Asian countries in late October for an undisclosed price. Since this is a midrange smartphone, we don’t expect the price to be too high.
