Lenovo has just launched two new uniquely shaped 8 and 10 inch tablets called the B6000-F and B8000-F respectively. These tablets have gone official in Germany for now, so we can expect it to launch in other parts of the world as well. These are budget tablets as the hardware will tell you and have been priced accordingly too. The smaller 8 inch tablet costs around €215 ($291) while the 10 inch variant costs close to €280 ($380) including local taxes.
The hardware is pretty low key as well with both tablets featuring a quad core MediaTek MT8125 chip, 1GB of RAM, 5MP camera, 16GB of storage and Android 4.2. Both tablets feature a display resolution of 1280×800, so the 8 inch B6000-F clearly has the better pixel density of the two. Also different between the two is the battery capacity, with the 10 inch B8000-F packing an 9,000 mAh battery while the 8 inch variant comes with a nifty 6,000 mAh battery.
What’s unique about these tablets though is the two stage kickstand which is placed neatly behind the tablet. This will make for a pleasurable media viewing experience. For the price, the B6000-F and B8000-F are certainly very decent offerings and we’ll keep an eye out for details on its American launch.
