A new HTC One teaser has just arrived, in the form of an infographic. Titled “Great Trios in History,” the infographic suggests that the three HTC One phones, the original HTC One, the HTC One Mini, and the new HTC One Max, are at par with the other trios that have have secured themselves definite places in history. Specifically, the infographic says that a new trio is about to be completed, hinting at the upcoming arrival of the HTC One Max.
The trios all have a heading that when reduced to acronyms, spell “HTC.” They come from a wide and well-chosen range of fields, including music, literature, food, politics, and movies. HTC appears to have made an effort to get a representative from each of these to appeal to a larger group of consumers from different age groups. Thus, we see the trios illustrated in caricatures, and saying quirky quips in speech bubbles. Among the trios mentioned are: Snap, Crackle, and Pop; Three Amigos; Harry, Ron, and Hermione of the “Harry Potter” novels; Henry VIII, Catherine, and Anne Boleyn from British history; Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child; Batman, Robin, and Catwoman from “The Dark Knight Rises;” and finally, Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, and R2-D2 from the Star Wars Trilogy.
HTC fans would probably recall that when the company was about to launch the HTC One Mini, it also released an infographic called “Little Things That Pack A Big Punch.” In such teaser, it cited surprising facts about seemingly small things, such as a tremendously hot pepper, or the most powerful poison in the world.
In the new infographic, HTC does not make any mention of its new smartphone. However, plenty of information has leaked regarding the supersized HTC One. These include a Quad-core 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 600 Krait 300 with Adreno 320 GPU, 5.9 Inch Full HD 1080 x 1920 pixels Multitouch display, 32 and 64 GB internal memory, a 4 MP rear camera, a 2.1 MP front camera, NFC, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS.
