Recently, we have encountered complaints from Verizon Wireless subscribers experiencing Droid Razr HD problem during the initial activation of their devices. According to them, the message, “Please wait until the phone has been activated” is showing up in the device.

According to Verizon, this is normal for new phones. The carrier said that the message would be displayed for a couple of minutes. So, if you encounter this Droid Razr HD Problem during the activation process, all you have to do is wait for a few minutes until the SIM activation in the network finishes.

But what if you are stuck with this message or there seems to be no end of it? Just perform the solutions below:

1. Check the SIM

Make sure that the SIM card is inserted in its slot properly.

2. Restart Phone

Sometimes, it just takes a simple restart to refresh the phone and fix the problem. So, try it before proceeding to the next steps.

3. Check the Network Strength in Your Area

Make sure that there are no problems with the Verizon network in your area. A poor reception or interference may hinder the proper activation of your SIM. Test a device that uses a Verizon SIM in your location to see if there are issues with the network.

4. Activate through My Verizon Account

Access the My Verizon page of Verizon Wireless, then activate your SIM and Device ID from there if the initial solutions fail.

5. Do a Factory Reset

If you are still getting no luck with your device, try to perform a Factory Reset.

6. Call the Carrier

When all else fails even after doing a Factory Reset, the Droid Razr HD problem may already be due to a faulty SIM or defective device. If this is the case, call the Customer Support of the carrier or request for your phone to be replaced.
