HTC has had a rough couple of months, with the Q3 financial results showing losses for the first time in the company’s long history. But that hasn’t stopped HTC from passing out good news to its loyal customers who have been waiting for the Android 4.3 update. A couple of days ago, the Sprint variant of the HTC One started getting the update and now the HTC USA President has announced the arrival of the update for the AT&T variants of the smartphone as well. Jason Mackenzie gave out the details through Twitter as he always does.
The AT&T HTC One will get the update over the course of the week, so it could be in a couple of days from now at max. Android 4.3 isn’t a whole lot different compared to Android 4.2, but since it has to be certified by carriers individually, it takes some time. We’re now waiting for the Verizon variant to get an update, which should probably happen next week. Be on the lookout for an update notification if you own an AT&T branded HTC One.
Good news for One users on AT&T. 4.3 update passed AT&T certification today. Will begin to push to your phones early next week. @HTCUSA
