The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom is reportedly headed towards AT&T according to a new leak coming from renowned Twitter source Evleaks. This smartphone-camera hybrid is a successor to the Galaxy Camera from 2012 which had its hardware based off the Galaxy S III. But with the Galaxy S4 Zoom, only the name and the software running inside is similar to the Galaxy S4 while the hardware is completely different. The Galaxy S4 Zoom sports a 4.3 inch qHD display, a dual core 1.5 GHz processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with microSD support, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, a 2,330 mAh battery and a 16MP camera on the back with 10x optical zoom, optical image stabilization and a Xenon flash.
While the Galaxy S4 Zoom hasn’t exactly sold in millions around the world, AT&T will believe it can make quite a mark on the customers through aggressive marketing. However, the presence of better all round smartphones like the Sony Xperia Z1 and even the Nokia Lumia 1020 will not make things easy for Samsung, so it is unlikely that the Galaxy S4 Zoom will get any love.
