We’ve had plenty of rumors so far regarding the successor to the Google Nexus 10, most of which peg ASUS to be the new manufacturer instead of Samsung. Today, we have yet another confirmation of that thanks to an internal inventory screenshot leaked by Evleaks on Twitter. The image clearly mentions the Google ASUS Nexus 10 and confirms its size as well, which is something we already knew. We haven’t seen an image of the tablet so far, so it seems like Google has managed to keep it tightly under wraps, but not for long as an announcement is expected to take place in a couple of weeks.
The tablet could feature substantially improved hardware compared to its Samsung made predecessor with a body similar to the 2013 Nexus 7. We’ll have confirmation of the design of the tablet when the leaks start flowing in later this month. With the 2012 Nexus 10 not selling as well as Google would have liked, the ASUS Nexus 10 would like to turn things around. And ASUS’ expertise in the tablet industry will certainly help with that.
