Our first look at the Alcatel ONE TOUCH POP 7 tablet has arrived, courtesy of famous leak source, @evleaks. Little information is known about the innards of the device, but judging from the image, this tablet is designed for those who are not afraid of colors. The Alcatel ONE TOUCH POP 7 tablet features a thick white bezel on its front, rounded corners, and a choice among bright blue, red, pink, and yellow, for its rear panel. Also visible in the image is a front-facing and rear facing camera, as well as the Alcatel ONE TOUCH logo on the product’s rear plate.
The tablet is part of the ONE TOUCH POP product line, which also includes the C-Series smartphones that were unveiled just last month during the IFA event. The C-Series smartphones includes the Pop C1, Pop C3, Pop C5, and Pop C7 handsets, which all sport modest specifications matched with budget-friendly price ranges. The smartphones pack 1 to 1.3GHz processors, 3 to 5 MP cameras, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It is likely that the Alcatel ONE TOUCH POP 7 tablet will come with similar specifications.
With new products like the ONE TOUCH POP smartphones and tablet, Alcatel hopes to step up its game as it competes with the more popular manufacturers. Earlier this year, the company unveiled what was then the world’s thinnest smartphone, the One Touch Idol Ultra. It also recently offered the ONE TOUCH Fierce and the ONE TOUCH Evolve, which are both available from T-Mobile in the United States. Other Alcatel products this year include the EVO 8 HD tablet, Idol Alpha, and One Touch Hero, and One Touch Idol X.
