Samsung has once again grabbed all four carriers in the US with their hit phablet phone, the Galaxy Note 3. The newest in the line will be available to pre-order from Verizon Wireless on Friday.
AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular will all be grabbing the Galaxy Note 3 before it comes out on September 25. The Galaxy Note 3 will be available for pre-order from the selected carriers sometime within the next week, but no price has been set for the device.
On top of the US launch, Samsung is preparing to get the Galaxy Note 3 into 149 countries before the end of the year, beating LG’s big 130 carrier push with the LG G2.
The Galaxy Note 3 does have a few new features, including the faux-leather back instead of plastic. Inside the phone is running on an octa-core Exynos 5 CPU, 3GB of RAM and has a variety of storage options.
We will see the Galaxy Note 3 come with three different color options, white, black and pink. We believe Samsung will offer exclusive deals with carriers for different color options, similar to what they have done with the Galaxy S4.
Verizon Wireless has also announced they will be offering the Galaxy Gear for $299. The Galaxy Gear is an accessory for the smartphone, connecting to it through Bluetooth 4.0 and allowing users to check their watch for notifications and use simple apps.
