Samsung recently unveiled its latest mid-range Android smartphone in China called the Samsung Galaxy Trend 3 This device is the third and latest model in the Trend lineup which succeeds the previous Galaxy Trend and Galaxy Trend 2. It’s a budget dual-SIM device that comes in four variants namely SM-G3502, SM-G3502U, SM-G3508, and SM-G3509. The SM-G3502 and SM-G3502U variant run on Android 4.2 and support WCDMA/ GSM. The two other variants use Android 4.1 and support CDMA/ GSM (G3509) and TDSDMA/ GSM (G3508).
The Samsung Galaxy Trend 3 follows a similar design principle as the popular Samsung Galaxy S4 with the difference lying on its internal hardware specifications. While the S4 uses powerful high end hardware components the Trend 3 uses basic components.

There’s really nothing to be excited about the specifications of this device which is clearly aimed at budget conscious consumers or those who are new to the Android platform. One of its best features is its dual-SIM functionality that supports a dual-standby mode. This means that you can be on two networks at the same time.
In terms of connectivity options there is Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Micro-USB and 3G. The device does not come with NFC or LTE.
The SM-G3502U and SM-G3502 variant will be available at China Unicom, SM-3508 for China Mobile, while the SM-3509 will be offered by China Telecom. Consumers will have three color options to choose from namely pink, white, and black.
Samsung has not announced how much the device will cost or its exact date of release as of yet however it is expected to go on sale in China next month.
