Galaxy Note 12.2

The Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 (SM-P900) has just leaked in an image as the company gears up for its big announcement on Wednesday. The image comes courtesy of MovePlayer, which claims that the tablet will be sold under the Samsung 9x series. The device should be announced during the course of the IFA event or during Samsung’s pre IFA event this Wednesday.

The tablet is rumored to feature a 2560×1600 resolution display and the new Exynos 5420 octa core chipset, but there’s no info on the rest of the specs sheet. The tablet seems to have a boxy design which is something we noticed in the Galaxy Note 3 leak from yesterday. The iconic home button is well in place here with capacitive buttons on either side. Samsung has tried going big with the Note series before (Galaxy Note 8.0), but this could be a new niche for the company. We should have more information coming out in the next few days.
