Dual Camera Mode allows both the front and rear cameras to function at the same time. This supposedly ensures that even the photographer is included in capturing the moment.

A feature that is perfect for taking selfies, Beauty Face makes the subject’s skin appear smooth and blemish-free.

High Dynamic Range (HDR) Video allows the photographer to capture a wider dynamic range of luminance between the scene’s light and dark areas compared to regular video. This allows for more creativity and control over the appearance of videos captured by the smartphone.

Lastly, Panorama allows the photographer to capture large areas of space through the smartphone camera.

HTC One Max camera and other specifications

The HTC One Max is expected to feature a 4MP UltraPixel primary camera, along with a 2.1MP secondary camera. Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), which allows users to take clearer photos in low-light conditions, will potentially be onboard, as well.

Other specifications, features, and relevant information about the device have been leaking for the past few days, giving potential buyers a preview of the supersized HTC One.

Various sources have suggested that he HTC One Max will pack a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chip, a 5.9-inch 1080p Super LCD 3 display, a 3300mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, 2GB of RAM, and HTC Sense 5 UI. The latter will purportedly give users more customization options as well as added widgets.

Leaked images of the device’s fingerprint sensor and possible UI have also surfaced. Furthermore, the device had been allegedly photographed next to the recently-unveiled Samsung Galaxy Note 3 a couple of days ago. The two devices are believed to be aimed at the same group of consumers who want a large-sized device. The HTC One Max may be released around October in China, and soon after, in the international market. The phablet’s price is estimated to be around $800.
