The existence of the HTC One Max isn’t news to us, as several leaks over the past few weeks have been eye opening. And now the branding image of the smartphone has leaked, showing the name in its entirety. This is what we can expect to see on future cardboard cutouts or newspaper ads for the smartphone, so it’s quite a revelation. And strangely, the word ‘max’ isn’t capitalized. The leak comes from the reliable Twitter source Evleaks, so we don’t doubt its credibility.
We can expect an announcement any time now, as rumors have hinted at a late September release for the smartphone. This aligns perfectly with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which hits markets on September 25 worldwide and during the first week of October in the U.S. The HTC One Max is rumored to come with a massive 5.9 inch Super LCD 3 1080p panel, a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 chip, 2GB of RAM, internal storage of 16GB with a microSD card slot, a possible fingerprint scanner at the back, Android 4.3 and a 3,200 mAh battery.
