AT&T has now begun selling the LTE variant of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, which is the newest iteration of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab series. This one however comes with support for AT&T’s blazing fast LTE network and can be snatched up for $299.99 with a two year contract or $399.99 without contract. The tablet can also be bought through the AT&T Next plan for $20 a month. The Wi-Fi version of the Galaxy Tab 3 costs about $175 through third party retailers like Amazon, so the user is paying a premium merely for the LTE chip inside.
The AT&T Galaxy Tab 3 packs a 7 inch 1024×600 resolution display, a 1.6 GHz Snapdragon 400 dual core chip, 1.5GB of RAM, a 3.15MP camera on the back, 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, Android 4.2.2 and a 4,000 mAh battery. The tablet isn’t a high end device by any means, but fits in nicely among AT&T’s lineup as a budget tablet.
