AT&T will be launching the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Gear smartwatch later this week on Friday according a release issued by the company. This in no way comes as a surprise to us as the release dates of all the carrier variants of the Galaxy Note 3 were well known. Even Sprint is launching the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Gear smartwatch on the same day, so the No.2, 3 and 4 carriers in the country are launching the devices simultaneously while the Verizon variant won’t break cover until a week. With the official arrival of the Galaxy Note 3 in the U.S., imported variants should become obsolete now, especially with the region locking in place.
The AT&T Galaxy Note 3 will be sold for $299.99 with a two year contract and the Galaxy Gear will set you back by an additional $299. While the Galaxy Gear smartwatch might not see a lot of takers, the Galaxy Note 3 is bound to turn some heads when it hits retail shelves this Friday. The smartphone packs a 5.7 inch 1080p display, 32GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, a 13MP camera on the back and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with newer S-Pen features.
