AOL Launches News Reading App onto Google Play

AOL, the company that once brought us our snail speed internet, has launched a news reading application onto Google Play today. As AOL mentions, their new app brings AOL’s news content, trending videos, and more right onto your smartphone using a card-like news stream interface. There’s not much that separates this news reading app from the rest, as it also allows you to integrate your Facebook and Twitter accounts in order to quickly share read stories with friends.

The app also integrates AOL Mail (Who even uses that anymore?), and is available now for free on the Google Play store. AOL does mention that it is also available for the iPad, and an iPhone version is in the works.
