Boost Mobile will be launching a new smartphone called the ZTE Warp LTE, which is a decent sized midrange LTE offering. The smartphone, as you would have guessed by now, doesn’t sport a fancy specs sheet. The Warp LTE is the successor to the Warp Sequent from 2012 and the ZTE Warp from a couple of years ago. Sadly there isn’t a lot of information available on the smartphone for now besides the fact that it sports an 8MP camera and runs Android Jelly Bean. The leak comes courtesy of Evleaks on Twitter which is often considered a very reliable source as far as leaks are concerned.
There’s no word on the launch either, but we can expect Boost Mobile to make the announcement in the coming weeks. The predecessors of the ZTE Warp LTE are currently on sale on Boost Mobile. We can expect the pricing of the Warp LTE to be somewhere along the lines of $250-$300 as this isn’t a high end flagship. ZTE is known for its low cost offerings in the U.S. market. It recently launched the water resistant ZTE Reef smartphone on Virgin Mobile for just $150 without contract.
