Xiaomi might not be a popularly known international brand but in China where it originates from it is very popular. The company is often called as the “Apple of China” since it mimics Apple’s marketing style. Its forked Android version called Miui has one of the best looking user interfaces for mobile devices.
The company will be unveiling their Mi3 smartphone this coming September 5 and quite possible another device as well. This other device is a 7-inch tablet called the Xiaomi Zimi whose photo and specifications have already leaked out.
One feature that will immediately catch your attention is its claim of use of a “Retina” display. While no resolution values were disclosed the company may mean that the device has a high resolution that can compete with Apple’s Retina displays.
Another interesting feature is its use of a 13 mega-pixel rear camera that’s capable of recording 1080p videos.
