As we reported three days ago, Verizon Wireless is now officially selling the Moto X smartphone through its online store. The smartphone comes in the standard black or white color options with no additional choices of colors or customizations like the AT&T variant. Price has been set at $199.99 with a two year contract or $599.99 without contract. As you would expect, this variant comes with the traditional Verizon logo on the back, but thankfully the front has no logos. Verizon is only selling the smartphone through its online store for now, with retail outlets slated to get it in the coming weeks.
The Moto X isn’t exactly a hardware beast, but a collection of features makes it a worthy adversary to top flagships. Although the Verizon variant misses out on plenty of the customization features, it certainly isn’t a bad option for Android lovers. We can now expect carriers like Sprint and T-Mobile to follow suit.
