LG G2 QuickWindow case appears in video

The LG G2 QuickWindow smartphone cases which will be available for the upcoming flagship handset are being teased in a new video on Youtube. The video itself is in Korean, but it clearly shows a case with an opening that allows the user to answer calls, view messages, access the alarm clock, see the time, date and weather, and play and stop music playback. Several analog and digital clock interfaces may also be chosen to customize what appears in the small window. If you are familiar with Samsung’s S View Cover smartphone case for the Galaxy S4, such accessory is similar to the LG G2 QuickWindow case.

These QuickWindow cases have already been announced by LG late last month. Thus, the new advertisement hardly reveals any new surprises. Earlier, LG mentioned that the smartphone accessory will be available in a variety of colors, including yellow, pink, purple, blue, mint, black, and white.

LG G2 rumored specifications

The accessory is just another reason to anticipate the unveiling of the LG G2. LG is scheduled to make the device official this coming August 7th. This sequel to the LG Optimus G will reportedly feature top-of-the-line specifications. Among these are a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, 424 ppi pixel density, 16 million color support, a light sensor, and a proximity sensor. Under the hood, it will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad core, Krait 400 system chip and processor, Adreno 330 graphics processor and 3072 MB of RAM. Such hardware is expected to deliver ultra-fast performance, with AnTuTu benchmark results reaching almost 30,000. As David previously reported, this score is unsurpassed by the fastest devices available today. Other rumored features include Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, support for LTE-A, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Tethering, Computer sync, and OTA sync, a 13 MP main camera, and lastly, preloaded YouTube and Picasa apps.
