Ahead of tomorrow’s LG Press Event at NYC, known leaker @evleaks has shown off the official press render of the LG G2 on Twitter. As expected, the device has the power and volume rocker buttons on the back of the device, and will contain a 5.2 inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 800 processor, 2-3GB of RAM, and Android 4.2.
In addition to those powerhouse specs, we’re also looking at a removable battery and microSD slot, which is certainly welcome. Another welcome addition that most 2013 flagship smartphones don’t have is on-screen navigation buttons, something Google tried to push with the release of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but was never really widely adopted by manufacturers outside of the Nexus lineup.
I have to admit, this phone looks pretty darn sweet. Outside of LG’s custom skin and the power button on the back, I think I could get used to this. Anyone else ready for this phone to be announced already?
