We’ve heard quite a lot about LG’s tablet revival plans in the form of the new G Pad tablet. And now we’ve got confirmation of its existence thanks to an FCC listing. The tablet goes by the model number LG-V500, and is slated to be unveiled at the upcoming IFA 2013 event. There is an LTE/cellular variant of the tablet known as the LG-V507L which isn’t listed here, but we can expect to see both tablets during the announcement.
Going by previous reports, the LG G Pad is going to be one of the thinnest tablets around with a slim bezel to compliment the design of the LG G2. The tablet is also rumored to pack an 8.3 inch 1920×1200 resolution display with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip and the Adreno 330 graphics processor. The Wi-Fi only version would most likely launch first with the cellular variant following closely. If the LG G2 was anything to go by, the new range of LG devices will certainly be a notch ahead of the competition. We expect no different from the G Pad.
