According to a new rumor, the Huawei Honor 3 smartphone could be announced on the 28th of August. Huawei, which is known for its Ascend series of smartphones, will sell the Honor 3 as a midrange device. Traditionally, Huawei’s Honor series of smartphones have all been midrange devices, but this one seems to be slightly different.
The Huawei Honor 3 is rumored to feature a 4.7 inch 720p display, a 13MP camera, a 1MP camera on the front, Huawei’s very own K3V2E quad core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, 8GB of storage (3.13GB usable) with a microSD card slot, 2GB of RAM, a 2,230 mAh battery and the Huawei Emotion UI 1.6 running on top of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
There’s very little information available on the smartphone apart from the specs which was leaked a couple of months ago. As far as the launch is concerned, we can expect the smartphone to go on sale in a few weeks after the August 28 announcement. Pricing shouldn’t be too steep either as it is a midrange device. We expect China to get it first followed by other Asian and European markets.
