Starting today, a new Google Keep update is being rolled out to the Play Store. The new app adds the ability to get reminders for your notes. You can do both time reminders and location reminders. The reminders will be pushed through Google Now for when the alerts come through.
For time reminders, it’s self-explanatory. For location reminders, when Google Now detects you’re inside of a supermarket, you will be reminded of your shopping list, for example. If you want to deal with a reminder later, you can snooze it.
There is also a new navigation drawer included, allowing you to switch Google accounts for Keep easier and search throughout all your notes. You can also more easily add pictures already taken to notes easier than the old version.
This update should be rolling out to all devices over the next few days. If you aren’t seeing the update yet, it should be on your device soon.
