Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Manual Sketches and Benchmark Results Reveal More Specs

Image Sketches of Alleged of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 tablet surfaced on the internet today, further revealing the specifications of the phablet and confirming that the device has been engineered by Samsung to take on a number of Android phablets set to be introduced by competitors including the Sony Xperia Z Ultra and HTC’s One Max.  The new details published by Sim Only Radar are said to have been sent in by a tipster and apparently come from an official manual.  The images also include AnTuTu benchmark results for the phablet.

The Specs

If this leak is anything to go by, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N900) is a lot like the galaxy S4 in design and built and will also come in two variants – one with a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and another with an Exynos octa-core SoC.  Here is a summary of the listed specs:

Device Name: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900

Operating System: Android 4.2 Jelly Bean

Processor: 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 or octa-core 1.9 GHz Exynos 5

Display: 5.7 inch Super AMOLED MIPI (D-Type)

Camera: 13 megapixels rear with Xenon flash, and 1080p recording capability

Connectivity: GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, USB with OTG support

Build

If these sketches are genuine, then the Note 3 will also have a dedicated camera button and will most likely have advanced camera functions including optical image optimization.  The AnTuTu benchmark results published by Android Spin show that it scored 33,082 on a 1.9 GHz chip.

It is likely that Samsung will launch the Note 3 during the 2013 IFA in berlin.  If this is the case, then the device could be hitting the US stores shelves as early as October, just in time for the holiday season.  Note that these are just rumors and should not be assumed to be legitimate or accurate.
