Render of the white Moto X leaked this time

Moto X White

As August 1 approaches, we’re beginning to see more and more leaks and press shots of the Moto X smartphone. Only yesterday we saw one such image which revealed the black Moto X in all its glory. Today, it’s the white variant which has appeared. Interestingly, this is the same variant of the smartphone which Eric Schmidt was seen using recently.

Much like yesterday’s leak, even this render has been accessed by @evleaks. There are a couple of weeks left for the announcement of the smartphone, but we already know everything there is to know. If rumors have led us correctly, this won’t be a high end smartphone by any means. Instead, it is believed that the Moto X will be a decent mid ranged smartphone with a very attractive price tag.

The Moto X is rumored to pack a 4.7 inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1184, a 1.7 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 Pro MSM8960DT chip, a 10.5MP main camera, 2.1MP front camera, 16GB of storage, 2GB of RAM, a 1,500 mAh battery and the latest iteration of Android – we’re guessing Android 4.3.

Other software features like auto HDR and an always on listening mode has built up decent amount of buzz too. We will keep you updated on news and information about the Moto X as the event takes place on August 1.

  1. Yeah that is a reasonable capacity. YES, optimization for the pone will matter. Thanks for the update

  2. It’s now said to have a 2200mAh battery, still just ok. I’m just hoping this thing is optimized to run on these specs very very well and that it is $200-300 off contract— can’t be more.
