The first piece of undisputable evidence on the existence of HTC One and another HTC One variant only known as HTC One Max surfaced late yesterday in Germany in a document leaked from the O2 network. The document lists that the network will soon be selling a HTC One Mini in Silver and Black and a HTC One Max in silver only. However, the document does not indicate when the devices will be launched or when they will be available but it is very likely that the two devices will be available in the European and possibly the global market in the last quarter of 2013.
HTC One Max
If you can remember well, we published a post based on a rumor of a HTC device only known as HTC T6 a couple of weeks ago. As it turns out, the HTC T6 may not be a tablet but the HTC One Max smartphone with a bigger 5.9 inch screen. The device, possibly developed by HTC to counter the wave of a number of phablets entering the market including Samsung’s Galaxy Note III expected to launch soon and Sony’s Xperia Z Ultra, boasts of a Full HD 5.9 inch 1920 x 1080 pixels screen, a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor (the same that Sony’s Xperia Z Ultra and Honami comes with), the same BoomSound Experience that the HTC One has and the same UltraPixel camera. Based on rumors from credible sources we have come across so far, the device is just 9.4 mm thick and 140.4 mm long.
HTC One Mini
Unlike the HTC One Max, the HTC One Mini is actually much anticipated by diehard HTC fans who feel that the HTC one is too big for them. The specifications of this smartphone are still sketchy but rumors from reliable sources indicate that the phone will come with a 1.4 GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, a 720p 4.3 inch screen, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB onboard memory. It will also have the same camera features as the HTC One and HTC One Max – an UltraPixels camera capable of recording Full HD video and utilizing HTC Zoes. Both the Mini and the Max will be made out of aluminum just like the HTC One. You can read more about the HTC One Mini in a previous post here.
