We’ve already seen the much anticipated second gen Nexus 7 launching earlier today, but a new revelation has sparked off the possibility of a Nexus 10 refresh as well. According to Amir Efrati of The Wall Street Journal, Sundar Pichai mentioned that a Nexus 10 successor could be on the cards. Efrati has revealed this information on his Twitter feed.
The Samsung Nexus 10 broke cover during the latter part of 2012, so I guess we will see the refresh launch around the same time this year. Pichai seems to have mentioned that the new Nexus 10 will arrive later this year, which could mean three or four months from now, fitting in perfectly with last year’s launch.
Going by what we saw today, we’re guessing the Nexus 10 will also see a minor upgrade in hardware rather than a complete facelift. We will eagerly wait for more information on this and hope to come across a few leaks prior to the announcement. Much like last year, the new Nexus 10 could launch alongside the new Nexus flagship.
