In an attempt to keep the buzz going for the Moto X, Motorola has just tweeted an image of an assembly line worker assembling the smartphone, in its unit at Fort Worth, Texas. Unfortunately, the image doesn’t really show the smartphone in question as it appears to be an assembly unit.
Motorola is playing the “Assembled in the USA” card again with this tweet as it read – “Yep. This guy is building exactly what you think he is. Designed by you. Assembled in the USA.”
The Moto X is the worst kept secret by Google and Motorola, as Eric Schmidt was recently seen donning the smartphone in public. Although the Moto X was already sort of unveiled in a massive 4th of July ad, we had no clue what it looked like.
It is being said that the smartphone could be announced by the end of this month. Google incidentally, is holding an Android related event next Wednesday, so let’s hope some beans are spilled (no pun intended) during that session.
