The Moto X, Droid RAZR M Ultra and Droid RAZR Ultra smartphones that are on their way to Verizon have appeared in a new leak on a Cellebrite unit.
The photo, which was sent by an anonymous tipster to Android Authority, mentions the model numbers of the much-rumored devices. The XT1030 is said to be the Droid RAZR M Ultra, whereas the XT1080 is the Droid RAZR Ultra. Also present in the list of device is the model code XT1060, which was previously spotted in an FCC listing as the model code of the Moto X that is heading to Big Red.
Interestingly, the Cellebrite photo also shows the Motorola Droid 2 Global, which bears the model code A956, and the Motorola Droid 2 R2D2 version which has the model code A957. Notably missing from the list in the photo is the Droid MAXX, which has the model code XT1080M, and is also rumored to be launching soon on the wireless carrier.
As it is from an anonymous source, it is difficult to tell whether this is accurate or not. In any case, Verizon is already expected to take the wraps off the 2013 Motorola Droid family of smartphones, including the Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx, Droid Mini on Tuesday, July 23. The wireless carrier has already sent out invitations to a press event that is happening on said date to some members of the media.
Meanwhile, the heavily rumored Moto X is not expected to make an appearance on the same event. Google and Motorola have not announced the launch of the Moto X, but it will likely occur sometime in the next few weeks. Verizon, however, appears to have a more definite date of unveiling of the customizable smartphone, which is believed to be on August 23.
Despite the numerous leaks regarding the Moto X, Google and Motorola are allegedly keeping some important information under wraps, according to another report which arrived today.
