US Cellular seems to be picking up an awful lot of Android mid-range devices, with the Optimus F7 joining the pack and now the ZTE Imperial has been leaked by a tipster on Engadget.
The ZTE Imperial will join the US Cellular line on June 17, according to the report. It will come with more mediocre specs, including a 4-inch 480×800 display, 1.2GHz single-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and 2,500mAh battery.
There will also be a five megapixel camera on the back of the smartphone. The ZTE Imperial will come with 4G and Bluetooth 4.0, but there is no NFC as far as the report goes.
For many this will look like a feature phone now and ZTE is probably going to target a light consumer audience who don’t necessarily need the best smartphone. We expect the price to be very pocket friendly.
