Developers who are looking to tinker a little bit more with their Verizon Galaxy S4 may want to look towards Samsung’s way, as starting today they are selling a Verizon Galaxy S4 Developer edition that has an unlockable bootloader. This will allow you to fully root and hack the device if that seems to be your cup of tea.

At $649.99, you’re paying the same price if you were to buy one straight from Verizon at retail. The price is a little bit high, but you do get full accessiblity to the bootloader and such. However, with so many bootloader tools already available to unlock the original Verizon Galaxy S4, there’s really no need to go out and buy this phone. Unless you’re a hardcore developer, of course.

The Verizon Galaxy S4 Developer Edition is now available to purchase directly from Samsung’s site, and only comes in a Black Mist color with 16GB of internal storage.
