The Official Man of Steel Movie Game Expensively Lands on Android

The official Man of Steel Movie game has landed on Google Play, less than a day after its release on Apple’s iTunes. From an early review in iTunes, it appears to be a one on one swiping combat game. I have not played the game yet (I do not want any chance of spoilers before I watch the movie tomorrow) so I do not want to venture any comments on it, except regarding the sticker price.

The sticker price of this Warner Bros. title may be a bit of a shocker. It is selling for US$4.99 on Google Play, which is on the higher end for a mobile game. But what is really puzzling is that Warner Bros. is offering the same title for US$2.99 on Apple’s iTunes, making the Android version seem terribly expensive. The game seems to have in app purchases, so maybe the price balances out down the line. Still, if you want to save Metropolis, it looks like it will cost you more on an Android.he game yet (I do not want any chance of spoilers before I watch the movie tomorrow) so I do not want to venture any comments on it, except regarding the sticker price.

The game requires Android 3.2 or higher, so if you are still rocking Gingerbread, saving Metropolis has to wait for another day.
