Earlier today we reported that T-Mobile and Huawei would likely be announcing the Prism II, and they have delivered. T-Mobile has just announced the budget device, and has stated that it will be priced at $116 off-contract and will be available for purchase soon.
This is clearly a budget smartphone, so it comes with budget specs: a 3.5-inch 480 x 320 display, 1Ghz CPU, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. In addition, the device also has a 3.2MP shooter on the back, with no Front Facing Camera. It’s not meant to be the best smartphone out there, but certainly can get the job done.
There’s no exact date for launch, but sources of Engadget have said that the device will launch tomorrow, which is as quick as it gets. If any of you are looking for a cheap budget phone on a cheap monthly contract, you can check out the Prism II at the source link below.
