If you’re looking to get your hands on Samsung’s newest S4 device, the Galaxy S4 Active is now available for pre-order from AT&T. The ruggedized device will cost you $200 on a new 2-year contract, or $595 if you plan to buy it outright. The device is available in both Urban Grey and Dive Blue colors, and will start shipping to pre-order customers on June 18, a few days before the June 21 public launch.
Some of the specs inside the phone are very similar to the original Galaxy S4: the Active packs a 1.9Ghz Snapdragon 600 CPU, 2GB of RAM, and a 1080p TFT LCD screen that is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It runs Android 4.2 with Samsung’s TouchWiz UX, as well as packing IP67 certification, meaning that it is water resistant (of up to 1 meter for 30 minutes) as well as dust resistant.
