Ming-Chi Kuo, one of the most reliable analysts of KGI Securities who specializes in Apple products said that there is a possibility that the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display could get a slimmer frame if it will be refreshed by the company.
In Kuo’s research note to the investors which was highlighted in an article of TechRadar, he wrote that consumers can expect the 13-inch Retina MacBook to have a slimmer design, which would greatly improve its portability.
The device will have higher performance due to the integration of the new Haswell chips from Intel. But since the sizes of the chips are very small, it is possible for the product to sport a thinner body.
In addition to the streamlined design, the KGI analyst forecasted that there will be an upgrade to its camera. He said that it will come with a full HD feature.
Again, in Kuo’s research note, he pointed out that the camera specification will go from its original HD feature to a full HD. This is to enhance its Facetime and video conference quality in the high resolution Retina display.
Release of the Product
According to the source, the new Apple 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display will be unveiled on the 2013 Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). The date of the event is slated on June 10. Everything about the new model of the MacBook will be revealed at the Cupertino company’s keynote address on the occasion, he stated.
Another product will be making its reintroduction also said Kuo. He commented that the popular MacBook Air model will receive some refreshed specifications. He predicted that the ultra-portable notebook will receive a dual-microphone to enhance its voice communication capabilities. It would benefit from the Haswell processors as well, he further claimed.
