Nvidia has run into some technical problems with the Nvidia Shield, the six-inch portable gaming console set to launch tomorrow. The company has announced a delay for about a month, to get one third party component up to scratch.
The company is currently working with the supplier of this third party component in order to get the Nvidia Shield ready for release. They have apologised to all who have pre-ordered and said they will work hard to get it out sometime next month.
One of the key features on the Nvidia Shield is the capability to play games from Steam, it was revealed at CES six months ago but only went up for pre-orders about a month ago. We have yet to really find out how many people want the portable gaming device, but about two weeks ago they dropped the price to $299.
