HTC may be preparing to add a new smartphone to the Windows Phone 8 line up this year, taking a lot of features from the successful HTC One for Android.
The new Windows Phone 8 device will not be an exact copy of the HTC One, but it will come with the metal unibody design. Size has not been revealed, although the screen size is around four to five inches. The phone will also come with the Ultrapixel camera from the HTC One and will sport a 1080p screen, the first on a Windows Phone 8 device.
We are unsure if it will come with a quad-core Snapdragon processor, HTC may decide to opt for the dual-core Snapdragon 600 instead, as Windows Phone 8 currently doesn’t support quad-core. Nokia is apparently readying up the EOS, which will apparently have a quad-core processor.
The phone should come in a variety of different colours, unless HTC has not got the right palette for aluminium and sticks with white and black. We expect it to have a name similar to the last Windows Phone 8 devices from HTC, possibly the HTC 8.
