Samsung’s Galaxy S4 Mini hasn’t made it to any US carriers yet, but it could soon. A Samsung device with the Model Number SCH-I435 cleared its way through a Bluetooth SIG test this week, and will most likely be making its way onto Verizon. Since only Verizon names its Samsung devices starting with “SCH,” we’re placing our bets that this device is most likely coming to Verizon, and will be named the Galaxy S4 Mini.
This could be also the Stratosphere 3 as well, since the original Stratosphere was model number SCH-i405 and the Stratosphere 2 was SCH-i425. But considering that neither really got a ton of attention or breaking sales, I’m not too sure Verizon would want to introduce a third iteration to the Stratosphere lineup.
Some specs of the Galaxy S4 Mini include a 1.5Ghz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch screen, along with a 8MP camera and 8GB of expandable storage. The device isn’t a powerhouse, but it is a decent mid-range smartphone.
