Earlier today Activison Blizzard announced that they have set a release date for the fastest selling PC game of all time Diablo III to make its debut on Xbox and Playstation, the game will be available on September 3rd. The game has been modified so that the controls are suited to the D-pad so that the gamer feels at home in the game.
The game will include all of the bug fixes and patches that have been added to the game in the past year, so the experience is the same across the platforms. The game itself has received amazing reviews some even reach a perfect 10 out of 10, so this game is definitely worth playing. The publisher hasn’t said when they expect to release a version of the next-gen consoles.
The game will be the first of the Blizzard catalogue to make the move from PC to console and probably not the last. If everything goes well with this release who’s to say that Starcraft 2 and World of Warcraft won’t make the jump as well. Blizzard Entertainment CEO Mike Morhaime has said that the experience will be “epic” out of the box, which is a big statement to make but can be backed up by the amount of PC gamers already addicted to the game.
