The most popular ROM for Android devices, CyanogenMod, has just moved from nightly builds into release candidate form and is on track to be released to the public tonight.
According to the CyanogenMod blog, this will be what’s next for the team after the release of 10.1 tonight:
With the 10.1.0 code finalized, we will return to our M-release cycle and work towards adding additional functionality and features; including the new Privacy Guard feature, which was merged into the nightliestoday.
There are many new and exciting things planned for the remainder of the year, just wait and see what we will do next!
CyanogenMod is arguably the most popular ROM available for Android users, so it’s pretty nice to see that they will be finally making the switch to a stable, RC version tonight for users to use. We’ll keep you guys updated and post links once they officially release the RC.
