BLU has three new unlocked Android 4.2 Jelly Bean smartphones called the Life Play, Life View and Life One. Compatible for use with AT&T as well as T-Mobile’s 1900MHz band, these smartphones come in different sizes and colors at pocket-friendly prices.
The Life View is the largest among the three handsets, featuring an enormous 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and an approximate pixel density of 258 ppi. There is an 16 GB of storage, microSD card expansion for up to 32 GB, 1 GB of RAM, and a 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex A7 MTK MT6589 processor. Powering the device is a 2600 mAh battery. The Life View sells for $299.
The Life One has a smaller display spanning 5 inches diagonally, but comes with the price tag of for $299, as well. The difference between the Life One and the Life View is that the former has a 13 MP camera sensor. However, its battery has a lower capacity of 2,000mAh. All other specifications, however, are the same as the ones found on the larger handset.
For the lower price of $229, one gets the smallest handset of the group, which is the Life Play. This smartphone packs a 4.7-inch display with the HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, an 8 MP main camera with LED flash, and a 2 MP front-facing camera for video chat and self-portraits. For its storage, it features 4 GB of space which is expandable for up to 32 GB through a microSD card slot. The device is rather slim, as well, measuring only 7.99 mm thin.
Among these, only the BLU Life Play is currently available. It can be purchased from Amazon, where one can select from five color options: blue, pink, grey, yellow, and white. Free shipping is offered for U.S. residents. Once ordered, the device should arrive at your address between two to four weeks.
Meanwhile, the Life View and the Life one are still pending release.
